What is the Age Range of the Products in the Skill?

What types of products fit within the skill?

There are many products throughout our range that encourage children to develop Problem Solving skills. With a wide variation of suitable ages and play patterns there are lots of different ways our toys encourage and support growing children.

Shape Sorters and Stackers

A great way to develop problem solving at a young age is to provide children with simple building and stacking items. The ELC stacking cups suitable from 6 months are a great starting point for young children to discover how to stack the cups without knocking them down.

Children's Games

For older children games can be a fun way to encourage problem solving. ELC have a wide range of games that encourage problem solving for example the Golden Honey Bee Tree Game. The aim of this game is to take it in turns to remove the leaves without waking the bees, children can work independently or in teams to figure out how to remove the leave without waking the bees!

Games & Puzzles

Providing children with puzzles that are suitable for their age and ability can also inspire the development of problem-solving skills.
