Help encourage your child’s physical development with our range of toys specifically designed to strengthen muscles and develop gross motor skills, as well as being lots of fun!
What are the 5 key elements of Physical Development?
What types of products fit within the skill?
There are many products throughout our range that help children with their physical development. With a wide variation of suitable ages and play patterns there are lots of different ways our toys promote this.
Sport Based Games
Sport based games are a great way to help children develop their physical skills. There are lots of toys that encourage physical play in the ELC range. Our Garden Games include activities such as bean bags and ring toss that can be played both indoors and outdoors so children can enjoy sport come rain or shine.
Outdoor Activities
Encouraging children to take part in outdoors activities is beneficial for their physical development. A great way to make the outdoors more fun is to introduce bubbles. Bubble blowers can create thousands of bubbles in outdoor spaces. Encourage children to jump up and try to pop the bubbles.
Toys to suit every age
Childrens physical development starts from birth. There are lots of options for aiding the physical development of young children in our range. Baby play gyms and tummy time toys are a great way to kick off your child’s physical development journey as they begin to stretch and reach.
Encourage little ones to take their first steps with the aid of a baby walker as they learn the art of balance and begin walking safely and confidently.
As they grow older, outdoor toys such as ride ons, toddler bikes and trikes all help to encourage physical development skills.
How Can Parents Encourage Development Using Specific Toys?
Engagement from parents can play a significant role in children getting the most out of their toys. Remember to keep interaction positive and offer gentle encouragement and praise if your child is finding something difficult.
